We are happy to announce that due to the increasing requests from our community, we have postponed the deadline for the SingularityU APAC Global Impact Challenge to July 23rd!

The purpose of the SingularityU APAC Global Impact Challenge is to foster moonshot innovations and startups that positively impact the lives of people living in the Asia Pacific, with an ability to scale and impact a billion people worldwide in 10 years.

What moonshot innovation would you develop to solve a global grand challenge (environment, energy, water, food, health, disaster resilience, governance, learning, space, security, prosperity, and shelter) using Artificial Intelligence that would impact the lives of a billion people in the next 10 years?

Why Host a Global Impact Challenge in the Asia Pacific?
Taiwan Tech Arena (TTA), a flagship startups program based in Taiwan for technology entrepreneurship and innovation, is seeking to identify Asia Pacific innovators with projects or startups that can solve the main social problems and have the vision of positively impacting the lives of millions of people in the world through the creation of products, services and solutions with the use of AI technology.

The Asia Pacific countries that are eligible for this GIC are Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The Prize
The winner will receive a seat at SU Ventures Incubator program. The Incubator Program is a 10-week program that fosters the development of viable start-ups (for profit or not-for profit).

The SU Ventures Incubator Program runs from September 3 – November 9, 2018.

The additional winner(s) will also be awarded the following Special Awards:

TIEC Special Award
Sponsored by The Ministry of Science and Technology of Taiwan (MOST), the TIEC Special Award will provide winning team business development support in Silicon Valley.

TTA Special Award
Sponsored by Taiwan Tech Arena (TTA), the TTA Special Award will provide access to TTA resources.
